Her influences have been and still are the Impressionists and the Old Masters Da Vinci and Michelangelo. She also has an interest in Asian artistic expression. Ruth currently paints weekly with local artists, known as “the group of seven artists”. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Scotland, the Netherlands, Australia, U.S.A., and Canada.
